RIP Cool Gent HERB KENT WGN NEWS
Herb Kent, 88, died Saturday, October 22, after working his morning shift at V-103, according to the radio station website.
I caught his show that morning and was glad to hear his voice. I remember thinking to myself, "what is Herb playing?" "Is today the day he will have two groups battle?"
I cannot remember the song title for the life of me but I remember feeling comforted to hear Herb's voice and happily surprised he was playing one of my songs from back in the day. It cheered me up. Mr. Kent made me feel better about my sorta janky day. May he rest in peace and many prayers to his family and friends.

"Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome," Part 1. Joy Leary, the Black Bag Speake...
There is no other video to watch, no other voice to be heard on this issue. Dr. Joy Lear explains why we get shot more, arrested more, were enslaved, abused and more often taken advantage of by others. You have to watch both videos. Why this woman does not have her own morning show on black topics is beyond me. I posted these videos before but that account was shut down. I figure a University account will stay around. Enjoy.
By the way, we need to start doing something good every day for ourselves, by ourselves. We can figure it out, we are smart too. Please do not become offended.

#Flintwatercrisis timeline and the question of new waterworks
Apparently, not adding anti-corrosives to the water doomed the money saving project.
Now what?
"An aggressive plan to remove Flint's lead-contaminated pipes from the water distribution system was announced Tuesday (Feb. 2, 2016) by city officials..." Even though water from the Flint River no longer flows through the city water works, the damage is apparently done. Etched are the Flint pipes, leaching lead into the current water source from Detroit. Damaged pipes leaching lead is said to be the reason why the people of Flint still need water donations.
